I like these changes, I don't think trollceptors will be as big of a problem as everyone thinks they will be. Saying that I know first day of expansion is going to be pure Ebola/Aids outbreak.
That aside the reason I dislike this expansion is because it is down right half-assed done.
This is THE most important change players have been asking for since 2008. There have been countless discussions every since L4/Drone regions nerfs and 0.0 worth collapse. CCP had 6-7 years to plan out these changes and I'm not saying just sov warfare but whole package addressing the drone regions and L4 fuck-ups and actually understanding why alliances these days hold such wast amounts of space and why we have renter empires.
And yet after all this time after all the discussions and begging and them delivering false promises we finally get sov changes and what do we get: A small package that includes somewhat good sov changes but yet again CCP leaves out the most crucial things:
We waited so many years for CCP to bring us a conclusive update to package all of those things. Fozzie keeps saying you want to hold sov it has benefits and wealth. Where ? Where is this wealth you talk about (the moons that go into few private pockets ? or half of the renter ISK that dissapears into unknown ?).
Sov has no value we still have a system that supports the number of players we had in 2008 and income that was valid when prices were 300% cheaper.
6-7 Years of waiting and they come with this bullshit-out-of-fozzies-asshole-half-assed-not-addressing-true-problems expansion. And than this dilhole says well we have the tools to tweak the system later on. Oh really shitlord you have tools to quickly do balancing ? Where were these tools for the last 10 years ? How about instead of fucking tools you use your brain and instead of redoing one thing 10 times you fucking listen to the community for one god fucking time and actually release something with addressing the entire problem.
Here take this crappy sov change will fix the other problems sometime down the road 2-3-4 years from now.. maybe.. If we don't dump half of our eve income on yet another shithole of a game.
That's why I dislike this expansion because they had 6-7 years to work on it and they come out with something so incomplete and then insult the community with we have the tools, we might fix the resulting problems down the road....
