I recently had an absolutely awful case of this which destroyed any doubts I had about this being a real thing. Went out dancing with a girl, things got heavy, took her home but I wasn't ready emotionally to actually do anything. Well, she sure was and put in quite the effort to get me interested but I held my ground and kept my pants on. Got a few hours of sleep and she was back to trying to convince me and oh my lord was she convincing. But I kept holding my ground. Well, we kept getting to a point where it was almost time to take it to the next level, there was heavy making out and heavy 'movement'. But at every peak I'd pull the situation back to zero. And every time I did that the pain ratcheted up a notch. I went from sore to "holy shit I can't even walk" to "omg I am in so much pain I think i need to actually go to the hospital". Now I already knew the answer but desperate I googled for a solution.

Every source I could find basically said you just gotta do it. No other options offered. So even though I felt like death was incoming, showing up to a hospital just to be told "so just do it" was not a option.

This left me a very interesting situation where I needed to solve the problem because i felt like my balls were swollen to the point there were going to explode and literally was tearing up from the pain. But I didn't want to "ask for help" but I also didn't really want to just go start watching porn on my computer with her still in the room, or be weird and jacking in the bathroom while she was over. And frankly asking her to leave, when she was fully willing, so I could do it myself, just seemed too depressing.
