'The Blues Brothers' At 40: Why It's The Rare Successful 'Saturday Night Live' Movie

When I was a kid, my dad decided to put the blues brothers on for me and my brother. We were about halfway through when we heard a scream from the kitchen. Dad had sliced his arm by accidentally putting his hand through what ge thought was an open window. there was A LOT of blood so we went to the neighbours house for help. The woman who lived there came over and found my dad lying in a pool of blood on the kitchen floor. She called 911 and we watched the rest of the movie while they performed first aid on him but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
It was a great movie, especially the car chase bit, it would have been even better if I could have heard the sound over those guys doing the CPR.

It was a rough time for me and my brother.
