Yep. I was charged with "minor in possession of alcohol" and given 40 hours of community service. Once I completed community service, the offense was wiped totally from my record, so its like it never happened. But still, I went to jail for about 4 hours, had to go to court, and of course do the community service. My offense was drinking a beer as a 19 year old before a college football game. I was sitting in passenger seat of parked vehicle (which to be fair IS an open container violation). My friend in the vehicle who was 21 was given an "open container" ticket and that's it. I was given no open container anything, just "minor in possession of alcohol".
