Biking with my buddy at 4 am, cop pulled up and he tossed the weed he had on him as we rolled onto the sidewalk. I cooperated with the officer assuming he thought we stole the bikes cause they were unlicensed with the city. I wasn't worried and fully cooperated as 2 more cops pulled up and started looking around, they found the weed and asked about it, I didn't know he had weed on him so I legitimately thought it they planted it to get us in more trouble or it was just there and I was the unluckiest person on earth. That was probable cause to search my bag and they found my grinder, they also found a tab of acid but I never got a charge for it and I'm guessing it went to the lab and never got tested cause they're so busy in the early summer when this happened. Couldn't afford a lawyer and figured since it was my first charge I could do this first offenders program, maintain a clean record and just be much smarter and safer about smoking and just be more mindful of the law going forward.
