Bobby Jindal will support Louisiana's religious freedom bill

So I'll give this example. Lets say the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Flying Monster, Pastafarians, believe that all Penne pasta eaters are full of sin and lets have a Pastafarian open up his pasta shop. Lets have one of the shop workers be a pennenite that just got married by the state. the shop keep and worker are talking and the shop keep asks where did y'all get married. the courthouse says the worker. The state will recognize legally our pennenite marriage because the state has their own laws governing marriage. I know the pastafarian church has their own canons regarding pennenites and marriage, but the state allows for the marriage between a pastafarian couple to be recognized in the eyes of the flying spaghetti monster and the eyes of the law. The shop keep looks at the worker, and says. I refuse to recognize that the penne marriage actually took place. That is perfectly acceptable says the worker, it doesnt matter what you think because you have your own pastafarian beliefs, go to your own pastafarian church. Only unless you interfere in the penne marriage says the worker then would I actually care because the marriage is between my penne partner and I are adhered to by the laws of the united states and the penne church actually govern and not the pastafarian beliefs and canons when it comes to such things as insurance, employment, benefits, and other things. you know as a pastafarian that there are a lot of non pastafarians, but if you dont want pennes in your church, that is fine. Founders of this country understood this and thus created a separation of church and state to ensure that pastafrians, pennes, can live in peace with one another where there can be no discrimination because america was created on a principle that all people are equal regardless of their religious beliefs.
