It always depends on what ones aims are for a factory. The vanilla bots simply cannot provide some feats that i need them to do. I use Bots mainly for sorting and then there is the choice between bobs mk3 where i need 10k or vanilla where i would need 200k for the same. And actually 10k of bobs mk3 are much harder to produce than 200k for vanilla. Same goes for the modules. People tend to only see the benefit of the modules not that it takes the materials for small factory to build even 1 mk 8 module. I simply don't see fun in building 10 assemblers instead of one super assembler that is much more expensive. Space is endless so there is not more challenge to building 1000s of assemblers than there is to build strong modules. Most RPM base builders cheat with resource richness anyways since else its to tedious to set new mining posts so often that you can't expand the base itself. If the aim is to only start one rocket and then go new game then bobs bots and modules even are completely useless since you will waste more time producing them than you would need to launch the rocket without them.

So really nothing OP to the bots or the modules.
