Boca Juniors fans arrested for imitating a monkey and making a Nazi gesture in the game against Corinthians today

Jeez, I'm glad to see an Argentine pointing this out here, I was starting to lose hope.
As a gaúcha who has had the opportunity to live in Argentina, I will readily admit that I was happy to see how Argentina has advanced further than Brazil in issues like homophobia, reproductive rights and mental health, but I was also very disappointed to confirm that the country is indeed backwards when it comes to racism, far too many intelligent people who still act like racism is just petty insults, some kind of "humour" or something that you should "just ignore" so it can magically go away, after all it's only offensive if you allow it to be...the sheer ignorance from an otherwise tolerant and educated society is astounding.

Anyways, sorry for this vent, I need to take a break from the fucking internet.
