Boeing sued by more than 400 pilots in class action over 737 MAX's 'unprecedented cover-up'

You know informing a person of what they think is very counter productive towards getting them to see a point that you're making, as is stating assumptions as facts.

Specifically you interpret him as meaning it's futile or pointless to file a class action suit, regardless of the merit of the case.

I was never under that impression and unfortunately I'm not even able to see how you were able to detract that from my statement. To say that "filing a class action lawsuit means nothing" paints the picture that it's insignificant, which is untrue. It is significant, especially in this case. If it wasn't, it wouldn't be headline worthy. Also I like how you repeatedly tried to make me feel singled out ("I'd hardly think that your misinterpretation is of any importance", "In your world") when the fact of the matter is if this was my opinion alone I would have a ton of downvotes. Clearly other people who read the original comment share my point of view. And now since you've attempted to undermine with those tactics I'm much less likely to take you seriously.
