I get why people hate Alex Jones so much but I'm not sure I understand the near universal support for no platforming him.

I realize misinformation is dangerous at this point in time, but what exactly is the line here? Tons of people have got Covid wrong, reddit two months ago was like "it's just a flu bro". Recently even the WHO blatantly lied and said masks weren't effective initially because they were worried about a shortage. Obvs Jones is batshit crazy but I havent really heard what rule hes breaking exactly or if/how we are going to hold others accountable for breaking the same rule.

Genuine question. Not trying to launch a Jones defense force.
