BoJack Horseman - Season 4 Discussion

I watched it all late Friday morning into the afternoon and have no regrets. (But now I have to rewatch it on my next day off.) Overall I was happy with the season and the ending, and had my usual post-Bojack period of slight depression and contemplation. * I was unhappy Bojack decided to destroy the summer home, but I understood why. I really wanted to see a follow up with Eddie. Episode 2 as a whole was amazing and I loved the blending of past/present. It's probably my favorite out of the season, though episode 11 is super close if not equal. I was extremely sad when Honey showed up post-op and completely listless. Bea's issues and her slight moment of clarity broke my heart, and I was happy to see Bojack set aside all his (deserved) negative feelings toward her to make her feel better. Hollyhock and her dads were a great addition to this season and I hope she shows up again. * PB and Diane's last scene -- I saw it coming from the beginning. They have been building up to this point and I hate to see it because PB has grown on me so much from the beginning and I see his emptiness and need for acceptance. I enjoyed his antics and the fracking-hole-underground house bit was ridiculously funny most of the time. * I hated seeing PC's downward spiral. I know she'll climb out of this * Todd almost seemed out of place for me but I enjoyed his moments of self-discovery and kinda-sorta his new clown business. * Andre Braugher's Woodchuck Couldchuck Berkowitz needs to show up at least a couple times every season now. The new voices this season were really great.
