Bokhari & Milo Yiannopoulos - "GaymerX, a convention and support group for homosexual, lesbian and transsexual video game enthusiasts, is under fire for systematically discriminating against gay gamers on the basis of political beliefs, leaving thousands of gay gamers neglected and unrepresented

As with all LGBT GG'ers, you, you, eternally you.

I think you have epic blinders on. But we will have to agree to disagree. You are able to conveniently ignore LGBTQ opinions within GG. And pretend that LGBTQ people who disagree with you are worthless or don't exist. To me, this sounds like internalized homophobia, and your persistent denials that you have any prejudice against LGBTQ people who disagree with you shows just how bad it is.

Of course they are. You agree with them.

I've been in GG chats where straight folk were the minority, you know. It's not like they're just allowing an LGBT dude in to be that one cool gay dude who agrees with them, like you are implying. There's loads of us. Heck, there are more vocal gay and bi GGers than vocal gay and bi aGGers from my perspective. Anecdotal, but that is how it looks.

You have condoned and in turn reinforced hideous behavior and regressive politics by supporting the people who engage in such things, including the dipshit journalist in question. The likelihood of you being someone that would flood their inbox of shit increases exponentially with every GG figurehead you follow. It's a fairly logical decision on their part.

A twitter follow is "support". Riiight.

The likelihood of you being someone who erases the experiences of PoC and other LGBTQ, generalizes their behavior, ignores them when they are speaking, stereotypes them, speaks for them instead of listening, and so on, goes up immensely based off the number of SRS-affiliated subreddits you go to... Like GamerGhazi. But I'm not going to block you from organizing because that is a practice called "guilt by association". Does the phrase "Are you now or have you ever been a member of the Communist Party of the United States?" ring a bell?

GaymerX is not a convention to bring people of opposing political agendas together, so, no. I never said anything of the sort. I don't think there are many of you, but they're certainly out there. You know, just like Chickens for Sanders, or GOProud.

You are adopting a political binary, speaking for me, stereotyping, erasing my experiences, and performing guilt by association again. (More proof of your internalized homophobia?) I'm a leftie. I consider each candidate but generally vote dems. I benefited from and support Obamacare. How much of a GOP-supporter does THAT sound like? I think you will find many like me on this board. Have you seen David Auerbach's article "#JeNeSuisPasLiberal: Entering the Quagmire of Online Leftism"? We're both leftists. I would assume you are in the moralist cluster, and borrow from the theory cluster when convenient to back your points. I'm deep in the Liberal cluster. But neither of us are remotely right wing.

From the circles in which I move in GG, most of who I meet is leftie liberal or leftie libertarian. Are you saying that if you are not STRICTLY in the Moralist or Theory clusters you should be forbidden from entering a safe space? Wow, that doesn't sound prejudiced at all! /s

People from the moralist cluster make ME uncomfortable, because in many ways they are indistinguishable from homophobic right-wingers to me.

Yeah, except you said "the community" has reclaimed it, implying a larger scope than just your own personal social circle, and you know it.

I have a presence on FurAffinity, InkBunny, /furry/ and Weasyl. I could use that term freely any of those places without a single callout against me. Those are all separate communities, so perhaps I should have specified which I meant when I said "the community"

If I'm trying to claim that the gay community as a whole has reclaimed the word (you know, the equivalent of what you were actually doing, only with furries), yeah, you damn well can accuse me of speaking for others.

Fair enough, and I guess you haven't really even used LGBTQ, implying it had been reclaimed. You have a point here! You're just speaking for all the intersections in GamerGate that you do not belong to, is all. And the ones you do, too.
