'Bombs won't save lives' in Syria, opposition leader Corbyn tells UK PM May

I'm honestly considering not using /r/worldnews anymore after going through this comment section. How in gods name does a post saying that Jeremy Corbin was happy to see the IRA use bombs get almost 50 upvotes?

Look if you want to claim that Jeremy Corbin was soft on the IRA be my guest but there is a huge debate over whether meeting and talking to members of the IRA or people linked to the IRA was "negotiating with terrorists" or "furthering the peace process in norther Ireland" (the good Friday agreement involved a lot of "negotiating with terrorists" and it achieved more peace than any other measure taken in Northern Ireland).

That doesn't even start us on the fact that Theresa Mays current government is reliant on support from the DUP which is full of people with ties to the UVF and other Unionist terrorist groups.

Saying that Jeremy Corbin was happy for the IRA to use bombs with absolutely nothing to back it up is fucking ridiculous.
