Hi, i'm looking to buy a bonsai for my Dad for Christmas because he loves plants and gardening, I feel like this would be a fun new plant experience but I have some questions.
What plants are best suited for the indoors life? He has lots of outside plants but i'd like something he could still take care of even when it's too cold to do outside gardening. If it helps i'd like to buy a seed kit when we go to Epcot (we're AP people) I know they have Japanese Maples and probably some others so i'd like to know if that would be okay.
What books would you recommend for how-tos and general care? I understand these as special things and need special care and he loves to read gardening books.
