The kids can probably recognize a scam better than most teachers.
i'm not sold on this one. was reading something not too long ago (maybe the malwarebytes blog), something about a study showing that younger folks are often vulnerable to scams that are obvious to older folks (by picking up spelling/grammar issues or by understanding how societal infrastructure typically operates).
i think kids are living in a world where information is delivered in a uniform font via google and they have spent years clicking links and dumping personal info into random apps without a thought. they are less able (without instruction) to differentiate valuable sources and legitimate digital interactions from dubious or malicious. they lack context and experience.
