Well you got Tarantino who’s probably a lock for a nomination. After that you got former nominees in the category who’s films have already gotten good reviews with Jordan Peele, Lee Hall, and Pedro Almodóvar, as well as other former screenplay nominees who’s films haven’t been released yet but seem like they could be promising with James Mangold and Noah Baumbach. There’s also Scott Z. Burns and Lulu Wang who’s films screened at Sundance to great reception and seem like their screenplays are strong points of both. There’s also the films A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood, Lucy in the Sky, and Fair & Balanced which we haven’t seen much of yet but they seem like they could be strong contenders. On paper seems like it’ll be a pretty tough category.
