Boomers grandparents fought for them bringing in labor laws. Why aren't our grandparents (Boomers) doing the same for us?

As a boomer, I am fighting for the younger generation. I am very active in politics and I fight for living wages, unions, single-payer health care, student loan forgiveness, and affordable housing, among other issues.

I am fortunate to be financially stable and retired, and I KNOW how privileged that is (maybe because I have been poor). Most of my political groups are made up of retirees (because we have the free time to do the work) and we are doing all we can to make things better for the younger generations, I promise. I know I don't represent all, or even most, of my generation, but please know that there are many of us out here fighting for you. You are not alone.
