Bored of motorcycling?

Could be bored of the bike or bored of where you ride it. I’ve been riding dirt/ street for 30 years. Some years I ride more than others. Some days I’m just not in the mood. Other times I just look at my car in disgust and ride everyday. Ears rushing sounds like a lot of mental fatigue. You may try some ear plugs for 50+ mph trips to help save your hearing and headaches.

I’ve had cruisers and compare them to a truck. They will get you to your destination in comfort but you just kinda sit back and get there. I know for me the smaller chassis, lower displacement cruiser are all the down sides with not much positives. Cruisers are raked for highway stability and that hurts their back road fun, you have to hang off more and be very mindful of dragging hard parts. With the lower cc/torque ones you just feel like you are all out to keep up with highway traffic. They make for decent around town and short trips but then without luggage you can pick up anything.

Personally I enjoy exploring the area and just getting away.

It’s the reason I got an adventure bike. I can load it up in touring fashion and travel states away. I can strip the stuff and hit moderate dirt trails. I can go to remote back roads with the worse roads in comfort or I can hit the curviest roads around and let the bike dance under you.

My little v-twin 650 just has 10-12 more hp but you have to rev it some to get there. I think that adds to the enjoyment.
