A bored NEET lacks inner resources.

I fell off the hedonic cliff about 3 years ago. I was still saying NEETdom wasn't bad and that only boring people complained about boredom too, but reality hits like a train eventually. Hopefully your train arrives later or you shake out of the mindset sooner.

Man, I used to workout 6-7 days a week for almost 10 years solid, was built like a prime middleweight boxer at weigh-in. Ground to a halt over 6 months and now haven't done anything for 2 and half years. I keep telling myself I'll get back to it, at least I can have a better body and health than 95% of the population, but something is stopping me. It's that reality which hit like a train and instilled an unshakable sense of pointlessness. I think it's turning 30 and my hair starting to recede at the temples which did it. It's a sort of giving in to the long road towards old age.
