Boris Johnson condemned in brutal direct attack by London Bridge victim's father: 'He’s the worst of us and he’s taking you for a ride'

I think it’s a hard truth to accept, but pretty much (optimistically) at least 50% of people actively like to see bigoted policies. It’s not a case of tolerating Johnson’s lies/racism etc. They actually love it. I remember when I used to be a shitty wee argumentative teenage edgelord. I loved the concept of winning an argument through “gotcha!” moments, epic put-downs, one liners and lingual chicanery, not actual well laid out thoughtful and factual debate while being open to conceding to good faith opposition. I realise how wrong and immature that was, but also, having been there, I realise that most people love the illusion of winning instead of reality. I can see why it’s appealing and I don’t blame most individuals for having been duped.

Our culture and billionaire media just makes it so tempting to see what way the wind is blowing and go with what looks like winning, while playing up the danger of things like PC culture, which pose no risk to society really. Just a great big distraction, so many people think it’s imperative that they’re allowed to say ‘nigger’ with impunity, yet have no outrage for the amount of homeless children or hospitals at breaking point.
