The monarchy is the worst part of Canada's political system. It represents colonialism and genocide to First Nations peoples, and anglo domination to Francophones. It is also completely incompatible with a democratic, multicultural society. Canada will see great benefits once it is gone and we can finally claim to be truly independent.
