Bosses told me to drive with this in the sidewall of one of my steers. I told them I wasn't moving on that tire. Argued for an hour. I win. It's getting changed as I type this.

I once had a brake pad on one of my steer wheels crack so badly, I almost couldn't keep my truck in one lane as I slowed down to get off the highway. By some amazing miracle, there was a TA at that exit, so I went in and sent a breakdown call. They told me to check in to the shop, and TA said I'd wait about 4 hours before they could fix it. The company said we don't have that kind of time and it will be fixed after I deliver 300 miles away. I had to threaten a DOT complaint to get them to back down and fix it. It's amazing how little this company values the lives of the people who make all of their money.

I won't directly say the name of the company, but they got famous when they made a driver take a 10 hour break less than an hour after waking up from another 10 hour break, then threatened to fire him when he refused to drive drowsy. Unfortunately I learned about that after I was hired, or else I would have run away screaming when they offered me a job.
