[Boston Globe] Massachusetts town fights efforts to expose high school hockey team's racist and homophobic misconduct

I'll remind everyone that just because you live north of the Mason Dixon doesn't make you free from racism. Shit, Boston has such crazy protests over bussing in the 70's and 80's that it produced this iconic image.. Places like Massachusetts are so segregated as a result of decades of policies but people like to think of it as "we don't see color, only people..." type of shit. New England in particular is racist as fuck....just not in always overt - explicit ways. The implicit bias/racism is insanely deep though.
