Bostonians who make 150k+ a year, what do you do for a living?

I'm sorry my use of the literal definition of the term doesn't work for you. My household made money, lived reasonably, and struggled to save because of daycare and loan costs during that period. I'm lucky our costs went down and our incomes went up. Many arent as fortunate.

And no, no overpaying. Lots of professions leave you with $300,000 in debt and reduced income opportunities for several years. I'm sure you can imagine some scenarios where that happens.

Regardless, there are a lot of families out there with that much debt at that income level or less. Or do you not think kids coming out of undergrad with $150k in loans end up getting together?
