The botting is getting very bad. We need Jagex to provide a better stance against this. It is de-motivating me from playing the game.

Think outside of the box on this.

Other than the bosses, this just sounds like stuff that either has no impact on me, or actively improves my experience.

It's known that more players in the world = worst tick response. Worlds with more than 500 players in it tends to struggle more with missed clicks, etc.

What, am I supposed to want cannonball smithing to be a worthwhile thing to do?

Making cannonballs means they have membership. I doubt they paid for a subscription, I'm willing to bet they're using bonds. This means bond prices are higher, costing you and me more GP to keep membership active.

Targeting bossing for a mix of improvements to make the bots matter less for us (like focusing on instanced high end content), and more careful account scrutiny might be nice though.

More instanced areas = worse server lag. Ever since ToA came out the world performance has dropped significantly.

I just hope the pest control farming script creators are properly focusing on winning so I don't have to try to hard when I get around to grinding void knight.

Perfect example of how bots impact even Ironmen. I lose a lot of games of PC.
