Is bowing of the wrist something that is natural or is this something that is taught to happen in the golf swing?

When I first started golf I had a really strong grip. When I transitioned to a more neutral grip I naturally bowed the wrist because to me having a strong grip was square soy body naturally bowed it. I cannot for the life of me play with a square clubface/flat wrist. It makes me super inconsistent and I hit crazy fades, slices, pushes, and shanks. With my bowed wrist I hit my wedges and short irons phenomal, but the longer clubs (especially my driver) I get the hooks pretty but sometimes during a round but the reason isn’t entirely on the face being more closed but my path of my swing being too much in to out with with driver or face being too closed at address. You can play good golf with a closed clubface you just have to keep your grip pressure upwards of a 7, 8, 9 and use more body rotation.
