Here’s the thing. Ik level 231, I only have 4 perception. Because I’m a bloodied melee and shotgun build. So I originally only cared about perception to get the level 4 refractor perk.

BUT I love to use the bow. I ended up finding a crappy 3 star bow, and I asked my friend to mod it to have the fire arrows. And I think it’s so much fun. I don’t even have any bow perks on it. I use it to kill low level enemies like ghouls, scorched, raiders etc. It SUCKS that you can’t shoot to fast, but what did you expect? It’s a bow. Not saying the game is realistic with mutations and creatures etc. But it’s a bow, it’s not meant to shoot 4-8 arrows per second. I can’t speak on behalf of the people that have all the bow perks, explosive arrows, stealth build etc. But I can usually one hit the enemies I listed shoved without even sneaking. I don’t go and fight deathclaws and behemoths with a bow, I use my main weapons. But for low level enemies, I just use my bow.
