This boy is my dream horse and I was hoping to have some help so I'm able to buy him! http://www.gofundme.com/3pyb814

He seems extremely expensive for a mostly ordinary looking unproven young horse. If he is $4000 out of your budget then I am assuming that he is somewhere between $4500 - $8000 - but honestly I don't think that he is worth that much. The photo is quite low quality and I don't know if it's just the way he is standing - but he looks quite skinny, unmuscled and overall nothing special. I would expect a $4000+ 4 year old to be a lot better looking. Obviously I can't tell everything from a photo but that's the impression I get. Also just a sidenote, if he is going to be too expensive for you at this point then I really don't think he is worth the investment, as with his alleged potential he would be best used showing in high level competition, which as I'm sure you know will end up costing far more than his purchase price - trailer, clothing, tack, entry fees, fuel etc. If you can't afford to spend money on that then it will be a waste to spend so much on just buying him.

I think it would be a much better idea to look at getting a horse closer to you that will let you do the riding you want without being way too overqualified for the showing levels you are at - this way you will save much more money and you can save it for all the other necessities of horse ownership! Best of luck.
