I already went over this multiple times. OP said he was probably joking, and we said that's not cool to joke about. If he said that unjokingly, then the relationship probably has underlying issues that's going unaddressed. It's unlikely someone would say that over pubes alone. And if he did say that, he's entitled to leave at any time, just like she is allowed to leave at any time as well if she's uncomfortable or sees any threats. It might be a major turn off for him. Maybe OP isnt used to growing it out, which requires more maintenance, and her SO isn't cool with it. It's cool to bring up preferences, but not cool to demand them. If it's a deal breaker for him and he's uncomfortable having sex, and she really wants to grow it out, and they can't compromise, then just break up. Don't gotta make it complicated, don't gotta play any mind games and be miserable. What else is there to do? And who said he jumped down her throat?
