You're right. I would choose my partner over my job in a heartbeat BUT I would do that for a partner who is considerate of my goals and my feelings, who's willing to find a middle ground if it came to going long distance. I would do it for a partner who doesn't block me on his phone after a mere mention of going long distance for my dream job.

OP's boyfriend is an immature little brat, who doesn't give two shits about her and what matters to her. She gives up her dream job bc he made her choose, what's next, she gives up working at all bc he makes her choose between being a stay at home mom or a break up.

Men and women, don't give up your dream careers for partners who are not worth it.
