I don’t agree with your reasoning. we a red talking about food of sketchy origin that traveled 10.000 km at room temperature and it couldn’t have been chilled down so much after cooking that it would have stayed cold for 24hours, no matter how good it’s insulated over the trip. I doubt it was chilled at all. I wouldn’t be surprised the vaccine story is to soften the blow.

I would have been a lot more direct and irritated to her, explaining what bacteria can do to one’s body, salmonella for example. And why uninterrupted cold chains are maintained even if you airlift fresh foods from Asia. A Indian market used to ship mangoes ripened on their trees via airfreight that way.
