boyfriend strikes again

I asked him once how he managed to have such extreme misconceptions and how he'd gone through life never doing research or being exposed to any form of media that would disprove his incorrect ideas about female anatomy.

his response was that he's a guy, he was never taught these things and he didn't have any reason to look into it. which is fair, it's not information that's really necessary for daily life. my knowledge on female anatomy has never been perfect, let alone male anatomy, and it's something that certainly DOES affect me.

it's definitely funny that he's so off about anatomy, but do you think it's really necessary that he be informed about it?

genuine question, I'm trying to decide if I should encourage him to, but I don't want to sound pushy. I just don't feel that it's necessary. but I could be wrong
