Honestly, good for you OP. These responses defending your bf and saying he's better off with you... pff. You deserve to have high standards, I don't think this is unreasonable or unhealthy on your part. If you don't like something, you don't like it. You should try to keep an open mind, but he agreed to what you laid out. If he thinks your standard isn't fair or reasonable, then he should be actively discussing that with you and seeing if there's some form of agreement or compromise (I know plenty of couples that actually go together because they think it's fun and amusing?)

Bottom line: He promised not to go and he broke his promise. Done. What he did was cowardly
