I’ll start off by saying that I enjoyed The Boys all the way to the end of the last episode, but this wasn’t earth shattering Tv. It’s like the milquetoast version of the comic. I was pretty disappointed that the writers decided to tone down the boorish nature of a lot of the Seven. I also have no id a why they decided to have the Boys themselves be normal humans. If the idea is to raise the stakes it’s unnecessary. Homelander, Maeve, and even A-Train would still stomp the shit out of an enhanced human(Noir vs Female and A-Train be Starlight for example). To me that choice just makes the fact that these people can choose challenge the Seven seem too unrealistic.
