BPT checking to approve people for the subreddit

Ikr, mods somehow don't see the irony in banning all non-black people from the sub. And I also dislike the "we are volunteers" argument that mods always seem to pull out when making controversial moves.

Yes, you are volunteers. You are not being paid. However, you chose to do this. There is nothing stopping you from leaving. If you choose to stay and do a poor job, people are allowed to give feedback on your decisions.

Lastly, the "apologize for your whiteness" clause might be the dumbest thing I've read in weeks. You are asking people to apologize for the damage their ancestors did. You are asking people to apologize for something they have no control over (them being born white). You are discriminating BASED ON RACE, a factor that people cannot control. Is that not invalidating the entire goal of racial equality?
