Let’s all take a breath here and consider a few things-Brad Pitt has admitted to having a problem with alcohol and going into therapy. He said he needed it and that it has done him a world of good. He has taken accountability for what we KNOW. I am not saying that he was or was t abusive. To what degree, I don’t know. Was it a one-off? I don’t know. If he was abusive, was it most verbal?
Angelina Jolie is taking this sort of sullen and silent moral high ground-but has she admitted to ANY wrong doing at all? Look-she isn’t perfect. No one is. Let’s remember that she used to have a DOCUMENTED drug problem. In addition, she was definitely intense (I see you, vile of Billy Bob Thorntons blood around her neck-and visa versa if we are being fair. Oh and writing on herself in blood when she married her first husband as well), and sometimes coming across as less than sane. Personally I believe that Angelina has systematically turned the boys against Brad. I think that she easily could do this. She has every kids ear, every single day. I come from an abusive home-sometimes all it takes is your mothers constant barrage of words (in my case her words, not my dads words). The constant talk can convince a child that YOUR version is the truth. Think about it.
Six children, zero time to actually be a couple first, since she had this child thing firmly in hand when she got together with Brad), no time to build a relationship built on trust (yes I understand that the relationship Was born of infidelity), too much distance because of work, stress on both sides, a possible eating disorder on her side…. Does she not come across as the kind of woman that can “push buttons”? I AM NOT saying that makes any of this okay. But has Brad ever been accused of this sort of thing by anyone else? Jennifer? Gwenyth? Angelina has also launched a pretty serious campaign of trying to subvert and dismantle the divorce agreement piece by piece (financially speaking). Finally, keep in mind that the “other people that can verify or corroborate” her accusations are PAID employees.
