Brand new TV, has preinstalled apps like facebook that I can not delete, and neither can Samsung, I was told the contract with facebook overrules any desire I have to remove the app, is there any way to remove these apps or do I have to return the TV?

Samsung absolutely heavily advertises it's Smart features on every one of their newer TVs, so your first sentence is completely false.

How does giving an honest opinionated response about the OPs troubles complaining about something that he clearly doesn't understand make me some hopeless monkey? Simply because I said I work retail? My attitude has nothing to do with stores dropping, so stop trying to look for dumb reasons to attack me.

I made a simple opinionated response to the OP about his troubles and found it amusing that he purchased a Smart TV and is bitching about the smart features.

I have one of these TVs sitting in my living room. The smart features are not needed to be used at all to fully enjoy and use the functions of the TV that are wanted to be used. He simply was complaining about features that he purchased and are plastered all over the box when it was purchased.

Anyways, enough about this. It sucks the OP isn't happy, it sucks having someone return an item they just spent their hard earned money on, and it sucks seeing someone disappointed and bummed after making that big purchase. It still doesn't change the fact of how the OP was originally acting, nor does it make up for insults and attacks all because of ONE person having a different opinion.

Anyways, cheers bud. Have a good one, OP included.
