Breaking Into UX + Early Career Questions — 12 Dec, 2022 - 13 Dec, 2022

Messed up my presentation:

For context I started a course last month that teaches you UX/UI.

This is low-key a mini rant. We had to present to our group, on Zoom, a UX design comparison & I bottled it.

I'm normally good at presenting, in my day job, I do a lot of it and in general l'm a relatively confident person so happy to speak up.

In this case, prepared (clearly not enough) & I unconsciously put too much pressure on myself & when I stated I zoomed past my presentation, couldn't figure out how zoom presenting works on my second screen and essentially I don't even remember what I said and the feedback broke my heart & in comparison to my peers that presented, it was clear messed up.

I'm incredibly hard on myself so definitely taking this as a learn and improving.

Question for you guys is, what helps slow you down & any tips you have that help you present better
