Breaking News in the Maura Murray case: Maura seen in Woodsville with two friends an hour before she vanished.

One of the more interesting aspects of the Maura Murray case is how people view it.

What I think is so interesting is how many people think she ran away, but at the same time consider the accident she has to be no big deal. The thought process has to be that Maura Murray has this accident and then decides, what the heck I will keep going even when there is no reason to keep going. Not having a car to keep warm and provide transportation is no big deal. Clothes and supplies are also no big deal. Even with only a limited amount of money she can buy more later. Is this really what people think?

On the show Disappeared, friends and family constantly said they did not find it odd that Maura would go to the White Mountains region of New Hampshire or even that she might go away by herself on a trip. So why continue with the runaway plan if you can abort it and it does not raise suspicion among friends and family as to why you were there in the first place?

I guess this is why Maura Murray needs the tandem driver that she knows. But that makes even less sense to me. If I were Maura's friend, I would recommend aborting seeing how she has just comprised my involvement with her stupidity(drinking and driving).

In my opinion, as long as she can call police the next day to retrieve her car, she could have had it towed all the way back to her college for little or no money. She had the upgraded AAA plan with long distance towing. No one would have been the wiser until they looked at her car, and even then she could have made up a story about going off the road on the way home to the funeral if she was afraid of others knowing she took it all the way to New Hampshire. That would explain why she is back at college already and why her car is damaged. My experience with used car dealers is that they do not want a car they cannot sell so the car was probably considered junk already and would only be useful to get money from a junkyard.

I really think you have to look at this case as truth. Maura Murray went on a trip to get away from it all and decided to have a little alcohol on the way. The alcohol may or may not have been a factor in the actual crash, but she was not going to wait around for police since she knew she had been drinking. She takes what little she has and hightails it out of there. That is the most probable theory.

As for the other runaway theories, maybe someone can explain them to me.
