The guys who play video games that are depressed, aggressive, overweight, etc (whatever negative things you said) they would still be that type of person with or without the video games. My boyfriend plays video games like COD, Destiny, Red Dead Redemption 2.. he doesn't overdo it, he doesn't neglect me for them, never chooses them over me, he's athletic and has sexy muscles from his active job and training mma but that's beside the point lol, he also keeps a spotless apartment and has great hygiene, he's never raised his voice to me once, and keeps a good job. He is also working towards bettering his future and never stops looking for better career opportunities that he deserves. He treats me so well and I've never spent a moment of our relationship questioning his love for me, and I love the crap outta him. I don't care if you disagree or not because you're just absolutely wrong in your generalization. It is all about the man, not about the video games.

And then there was my boyfriend all the way back in 9th grade who stood me up at the school dance so he could play his Xbox. He is overweight, has poor hygiene, and has poor social skills.

The man makes the video game, the video game doesn't make the man.
