[breeds] [help] Which breed is right for me as a young apartment owner?

If you do look into rescues, I Just wanted to let you know to prepare yourself for possible rejection. My self esteem was so low because I would be excited to bring a dog home only to have a rescue reject me, but looking back I realized they were justified. I've been rejected for harmless reasons such as the dog needing a much larger family because they have separation anxiety, or the dog needing a quiet country home because they're very sensitive, etc. I appreciated the fact that the rescues were committed to finding the best humans.

Have you looked into jack russell terriers? My dog is a jack russell terrier, english cocker spaniel, plus unknown mix mutt and he loves to play as much as he loves to be by my husband and I.
