Yeah, no. That's not how professionals work. While I understand that it's difficult for many people who work other types of jobs to understand, professionals are usually allowed to engage in a reasonable amount of personal activities during their job.

If you want to strip that away from people, which I think is an absolutely shitty thing to do, then you're going to need to compensate for it with higher wages or other benefits. Otherwise, you'll attract less qualified people for the job.

It's the same deal with getting rid of qualified immunity or making police jobs less secure. You may want to do it, but if you do you're going to have to compensate for it by paying more.
