They were really chill about everything: didn't care about my dress as long as it matched the other bridesmaids. Didn't care about how my hair was styled. Didn't care how my +1 dressed, etc. Was in the process of moving, but didn't mind taking a day off for their special day.

Well the night before the bride asked me what shoes I was planning to wear. Its a wedding and I enjoy ballroom dancing, so my animal print ballroom shoes to stand out from my plain dress. Most weddings I've been in, the brides party wears crazy shoes under the long ridiculous dresses. Always made great photos. Well she threw a fit about the shoes, the only shoes I had not packed, so I had to go between my houses to fucking find a lame pair to satisfy her, because I'll be damned if I blow more money on this thing, on top of a 4 hour drive to the destination.

Next day, at my own hairdressers, paying for it out of my pocket, she gave me an amazing, to die for up-do. Bride never said anything about it, but she's also not sent me, or posted any photos with me in it.
