Britain is not prepared for the unprecedented economic pain ahead. Nothing quite like this has befallen the nation since the end of the Second World War.

Honestly I still don't have too much sympathy for us, I realise many of the below are multifaceted but;

We as an electorate have allowed all of this largely due to short sightedness and selfishness.

We have voted for Tories for the last 12 years, we allowed politicians to lie and gave them a pass,

We voted for brexit, to the economic and progressive detriment of ourselves and our futures. When we realised this was a car crash we just accepted and continued.

We have allowed continued austerity counter to most other world economies and had growth impacted as a result.

we have accepted politicians can be corrupt and gave them a pass.

We allow companies and the super rich to pay little tax, to the detriment of public institutions.

We allow churches to go tax free again to the detriment of public institutions.

We allowed our government to belittle our rights including the right to protest and gave them a pass, to the long term security of society.
