Britain Refuses to Accept How Islamic Terrorists Really Work - by Patrick Cockburn

Thank you for the article. Speaking of reporting genuinely suspicions behaviour - the other day on the tube during the morning rush hour I saw a man drop his backpack on the floor quite deliberately in the middle of a busy walkway as the people were getting off the train and he just stood there staring at the backpack which was now a good 3 feet away from him and on the way of the commuters, he did not seem to be in a hurry to pick it up at all. I could feel my heart beat in my temples as I imagined there being an explosive device that failed to detonate or maybe was just about to. I could tell that the people around me felt the same way as they walked past the man, the whole situation seemed off. Anyway, long story short, made it to work safely, mentioned it to a few colleagues, all expressed the same concern so I thought I'd ring the transport police just to let them know and maybe if they see him on CCTV and think it's nothing (I do realise we must all be sightly paranoid these days) then phew, all the better. Well I explained what I saw to the woman on the phone and she proceeds to tell me that it's not a crime and maybe the man was just waiting for someone.
