Britain says Taliban should not be recognised as Afghan government

Aight, what's so hard for you to understand that even if we left with a formal plan in place the exact same things would be happening and the only difference is that we delayed the inevitable by several months. You think that if we slowly transitioned out of the country that that was the deciding factor for the Afghanistan President to not flee and ANA soldiers to run away from the Taliban as soon as they saw them in the distance?

You don't think Afghanis would be flooding the roads and the airport trying to flee the country if we stayed a little longer? You think the Taliban wouldn't have entered Kabul if we stayed a little longer and then left?
