There are different levels of support required by people and anyone who has worked in this area knows that independence should be promoted and maintained as much as possible. The conservatorship she was under didn’t do this, it did the exact opposite of this. I’m going to go ahead and say that you don’t know more than the court that deemed her fit to make decisions for herself. You’re certainly not going to get a full picture from Instagram posts.

But finally, and most importantly, even if she is ill, she is still a person who deserves to be able to make decisions for herself.
