Britons see university fees as poor value

People have so little context and understanding at that age. They've not been exposed to the graduate job market. It all seems so easy and obvious in hindsight but at the age of 18 it really isn't.

Also so many factors to balance. Actual interest, suitability, prestige of uni, demand for jobs, how many grads actually go into the job area.

For instance, many courses look great on paper, like law (because lawyers get paid so much), and then you find out that the vast majority of law graduates can't get a training contract because the field is so oversaturated. I know people who did Law who only realised this during their course.

I certainly had a lot of realisations about my course to.
