Why a broken Luke is the greatest gift Rian Johnson could have given us

To add to this one of the greatest Knights and well known Knights in Literature Sir Lancelot was basicly one of the three greatest knighta in Camelot excluding Arthur.

After the whole affair was been made aware to all of Camelot Guemivere was sentenced to death but Lancelot came to save her but killed 3 of his former allies pissing off the 3rd greatest knight excluding Arthur , Sir Gawain basicly forced Arthur to go to war with Lancelot but after the whole war Lancelot and Arthur made peace with each other.

But during the final tragic battle if Camllan Lancelot asked if he could helo and Gawain denied him and honoring Gawain he didn't help which led to Gawains death and Arthurs too .

At the end Sir Lancelot the 2nd greatest Knight excluding Arthur, took a oath of silence and became a Monk no longer being a king of castle or a great world renowned knight.

Also I agree with what you said.
