Broker I work for won't let me take the test for at least another month and a half.. Feeling discouraged.

Can you find a job with another broker? From my experience this industry is hiring like crazy, you may find companies that are hiring remotely and the big brokers want you licensed ASAP to take calls. I guess depending on what you want to do with your license though.

I am taking my 7 for the 2nd time on Tuesday. Just a heads up, I used only TC on my first try and the test was way different and much harder. I was getting 70's on all of my chapter quizzes and I got 70's on all of my finals (4) except the benchmark which was worse and my last final was an 80, my scores were better than what I did w/ studying for SIE, so I wasn't too worried. Took the real test and got a 64%... It was so much different than what TC taught, the language was different and questions were more challenging.

Now my 2nd time, going through TC, I improved all of my scores by a good 10%, great. Then I started doing Kaplan qbank quizzes and they were much harder and more like the real exam, so I have been struggling to get through them and finally got a 74 on my SIM. You really have to know the material. Some other posts have mentioned watching youtube videos, if I had more time I would have checked out those, maybe try some of those since you have the time. And do a million Kaplan qbanks, no joke!
